This stunning 911 40th Anniversay Edition is an iconic piece of Porsche history.A rare limited edition model of which just 1963 examples were produced with less than 200 being rhd this being build no148.The 40th Anniversary model or 40 Jahre 911/40 Fast Years,was launched to commemorate 40 years of the 911 first seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1963 (hence the number of Anniversary’s produced).All 40th Anniversary models were Carrera 2 Manuals with a Turbo front bumper (albeit with colour coded grilles and C4S splitter) and bigger sill trims,Importantly they had the high output X51 power pack producing 345bhp,They also had factory fitted lowered (-10mm) Sports suspension and PSM (Porsche Stability Management) with a modified differential giving increased rear traction,All the cars were finished in metallic GT Silver which was previously unique to the awesome Carrera GT and had soft Dark Grey (essentially black) natural leather heated sports seats with GT Silver backs,18 inch polished finish Carrera alloy wheels,Electric sunroof,Bi-Xenon headlamps with dynamic beam control and headlamp cleaning,Multi function trip computer with check control,PAS,ABS,Full GT Silver interior pack including seat backs,centre console,handbrake,door handles,instrument dials,sill kickplates with 911 insignia and also unique leather sports steering wheel and gearknob,Stainless steel exhaust system with high gloss polished tailpipes and to finish off the detailing all Anniversary models had a silver numbered plaque inside the car and a badge on the engine compartment cover denoting ‘911 40 Jahre’!This particular anniversary has the added factory options of bose sound package,electric memory seats,rear wiper and colour crested wheel centres.The car has been lovingly kept and maintained by its 3 owners and comes with a fully documented OPC plus specialist service record together with all handbook pack and spare keys.The car has been beautifully prepared,fully serviced complete with a new clutch kit ready for its new owner to enjoy.These are a very rare and special 911 that will only increase in value.
